REFLECTION

Yes finally I made it to the last! This grading period (4th grading period) had a lot of activities, requirements that we had submitted. In short we are all busy. A few more days left to enjoy our high school life because the date mark for graduation is nearly approaching. We must enjoy the remaining days together with our friends. The people who made as feel that high school life is the best part of life. This quarter is awesome why do I say so? we enjoyed editing pictures using Adobe Photoshop and our periodical test in ICT is extremely awesome you only need to follow the instruction given by Mrs. Vera Cruz so that for sure you will passed the test.

My Dream MY future

  

    It said that every person have a dream, because as far as i remember my teacher in grade school told me that people who doesn't have dream cannot fly away meaning cannot do something for his life. We need a dream, a dream for our future an inspiration to strive harder in the things we do.
    To start with my goal I deeply considered knowledge is power a key to success,I firmly believe that education is the key to a better life. If individuals are equipped with knowledge then they can go out to the world and do much good for society. He/she can find better jobs and surely have a better life. When I was child i remember that i said that i want to become a doctor, a teacher etc. maybe because of my young mind tells me that it is easy to be like a doctor but as time goes by and many years had passed a finally know what is my dream.
      My dream is to become an engineer, they always said that that profession is hard because you must have talent in drawings and not a problem for me I'm good in drawing and i think I'm also good in numbers. I must study hard so that my dream is not just only a dream i want to achieved my dream.

 

Change Starts With Me

      We all know that nothing is permanent in this world. Every year, every month, everyday, every hour, every second and every millisecond there are changes happening in this world. You are the change that the world need. Change start with our own selves. We can change the world education is the key to change the world. It is the most powerful weapon so that we can change the world. Maybe if we compare ourselves to the world maybe we just only a small dot but we must always remember that a simple dot is always part of this world. We can change world who knows maybe we can be the next president. We can be a leader and we can help to change the world.We can set our new plans and rules. That can help not just one but everybody.
      Changing is really hard to do sometimes if you are contended with your life. We change for the better so that we expect that some people will not see us doing mistakes. Because committing mistakes sometimes are the reason why people change maybe because of embarrassment. You must first change before changing the world. You and I can change ourselves and we are the change that the world is waiting for. And everyday we must seek for the new things and new experiences.

Kannawidan Festival

The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated its Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. This year marks the province’s 193rd year based on the Royal Decree dated February 2, 1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”.

During the kannawidan festival the different OTOP(one town one product) of different towns in Ilocos Sur are presented during the festival, products of the province such as longanisa, bagnet, garlic, bibingka, tinubong and many other foods including handicrafts. There was even eating contests of these delicacies of Ilocos Sur as well as basi drinking contest. . There were also activities happen during this occasion just like the Saniata ti Ilocos Sur Pageant.       The only experience of mine during this festival is we some students of Ilocos Sur national High School especially the CAT officers and COLT trainees witnessed the opening program of Kannawidan. We enjoy the opening program, watched how some igorot do their traditional dances and some had watched they play some of the musical instruments.         We ilocano must not forget our own traditions, this traditions are the trademarks of our beautiful province. We must deeply appreciate our own culture and we must be proud of being a pure hearted ilocano.Because nowadays just what i observe we are on the modern days and technologies have over come the life of  people. We must witnessed this kannawidan festival so that we will never forget the different things about ilocos, the culture, our own traditions. 

New Year, New Me

    

       
             When the new year comes around it seems like the perfect time for self-improvement right?.Even though I’ve always failed my New Year’s resolutions, every year I promise myself that this time will be different. I’ve tried everything from starting doing  my homework earlier to giving up Facebook. Trying to be a better student and for the last time doing my very best so that my final grade could satisfy my expectations. But it doesn't mean that because it is said that we must change because a new year has come, another person we become, we must only change the bad habits that can be a hindrance to our success. Nothing is permanent in this world, just like climate people change even though its hard to change people change because of some factors, if they hurt to much, change because they want to or maybe they want to change for the one they love.
     
 "Maybe it's not always about trying to fix something broken. Maybe it's about starting over and creating something better" All of our failures in life are the ones who motivate us to change for the better. Committing mistakes can sometimes are the key why we improve ourselves. Did you ever asked yourself why you commit mistakes? we commit mistakes because of some reasons and because of this mistakes we seek to try new and promise to ourselves that we do not do that mistakes or failures again.

    Today, I look back at those massive failures I've made  and laugh about this many times in a while.I figured out how to do my homework by turning off the TV, turning off my cellphone and one thing in my mind is to finish it the time i set doing it the night it was assigned.The Facebook goal wouldn’t be that challenging now. I have slowly become less attached to Facebook. I update my status only about once a week. I’ve learned that New Year’s resolutions aren’t meant to change your life, they’re just a nice tradition. It’s fun to challenge myself and find out how long I’ll last.
So far I’m doing well but I’m not sure how long it will last.

Reflection 3rd quarter

REFLECTION

           In this chapter we learned about how to add background image and color, how to display an image on a page. What is alt attributes and how to link another html file and last how to change the font attributes of a html file. The only problem we had in our class is that we do not often have class because the continuous drill of CAT and its really affected our class that’s why instead of 4-5 our ICT subject is now 1-2 and we can now do our requirements much often than the other grading period.

           Many activities happened during this chapter but even though we are busy about those activities we don’t forget our requirements in our ICT class. If we can not made it in our time in ICT we do it in our homes so that we pass them on time.

           Next grading period I will do my best again I think I got the lowest score in periodical test and how sad I didn’t review well I will give my full effort next grading the last grading of our high school life.

ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

Essence of Christmas

Christmas is the time when we celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. The time for to remember the love and his sacrifices for us. This holiday serves as a key for all the people around the world to have one common goal and that is to honor and value the day he born.

Christmas is not about the presents we receive; it’s all about how we spend this holiday together with our love ones. The true essence of Christmas is about sharing love, forgiveness and caring about people we love. Christmas is about giving. Doing things for others, helping with toy distributions to needy children and remember those less fortunate.

For me as a student, I’m really excited when the month of December already falls to its first day. Not excited of the gifts that I will receive soon but I’m excited of the gifts that I’ve plan to give to my close friends and to my best friend. “It’s better to give than to receive and it is true the feeling when you receive a gift is much different when you give someone a gift. Because it means to say that this person is special to you b and you remember him/her during this happiest holiday of the year.

CLIMATE CHANGE

 

                                                                Climate Change

       We all know that this climate change is one of the most common global crisis we suffered nowadays. But before we continue let me first explain what climate change is. Climate change is the phenomenon where the earth's temperature greatly increase and it affect the behaviour of the worlds weather. The change also affect the daily lives of people, the change in weather's condition is the reason why its hard for them to adjust themselves to their daily doings. For example here in the Philippines we always hope during the month of June- November a rainy season month but due to climate change the weather we expect is change we and do not expect that this happen it much like summer this year during those months because of the change in weather.

            

            But there are many ways to solve this problem, we are the who one that can change the world, the power to change is on our hand. We must the who are responsible of this problem we sufferred right now because we are also the one who create this problem. Being iresponsible not throwing our garbage in their proper places, illegal logging and burning plastics that cause the air pollution.

           

             So the first step that we can do is to change and become a responsible person, we must plant trees. Use the three "R" Reuse Reduce Recycle and love the nature around us because it's the Gods gift for mankind so it must not destroyed. 

Equal Rights Equal Opportunity

   

 

       Martin Luther King Jr. the famous man who fought for the equal rights of  black men and white men. This is to show that all people are have equal rights and must not judge by the color of their skins they must be judge by the content of their character. Because all people are equal to the eye of the mighty Lord.
 
       Equality is important thing the good effect of this is no  misunderstanding no problem and no war. Without equality there will be problems and misunderstanding among people and no peace. Let us fought for our rights because this thing is one treasure that other people cannot get from you. With equal rights we can achieve our goal that we have all  opportunity to make our lives better.

Going Global Through English Language

     

Language is the the thing that people uses to communicate to someone. It is the bridge of the two people to fully express their feeelings towards somebody. This language is very important to everyone in their daily lives. This languages use in their works to communicate, imagine that you dont have common language you wil not understand each other and cause mis understand and some problems.
 
      Different raises and nationalities uses different languages but we all know that the english language is the common language we use worldwide. It is the language that teachers uses and learned by students  beacause this language is the one that we can use in our job in the future. Because different countries have also different languages but beacause of english language we can communicate to them and can understand them.
     
       This English Language is important it is just like a key to success if you learn to use it. A key to success because if we can use this language we can understand other people, different nationalities, and we can communicate to different countries. We can communicate and have a good job and we can meet new friends a friend that understand us wih that common language.

REFLECTION

                                                     REFLECTION 2nd Grading Period

         



           Another grading period had past and there were many discoveries and lessons that I learned. This quarter seems fun because I discovered that notepad is very useful and many things you can do with it. Before, I think that it is useless but this grading period prove me that i was wrong. Notepad is use to edit and make a html file. I also found applying font size font color in notepad is different MS WORD because in notepad we use different tag attributes. it is very challenging because you just like solving a puzzle, wee must use the proper tags so that we can make the activities correct.
         
           The only problem that I encountered is this grading period is some of our topics about html haven't been discuss because of lack of time due to the different activities and contest that our section is involve. That is the reason why it is hard for me to answer some questions to our periodical test.

            Moving on, I will do my best become more patient and industrious so that i can pass all of our requirements on time. This next chapter would be the time that I will improve myself and make my high school life a meaningful one. High school life had just about to end and i must do all the necessary things so that my high school life will be memorable.

MY TEACHER MY HERO

               For me heroes always doesn't mean that they must have cool costumes and supernatural powers
or fighting villains for saving the world. A hero for me is the who can strengthen me, the one who can support you and at your side during your bad times. A hero is the one who can help you and can lift you up during your worst part.

                Heroes can be anyone being a hero is in our own selves. You, me and everyone can be a hero in their own different way. If I asked you who is you hero maybe you will tell me that your father, maybe your mother, sister your friend or your teacher.

                 Teachers are part of the life of a students, since kindergarten until college teachers are the who teach us to prepare us for our future. They are the one who influence students and encourage them to be good in their studies. Teachers play an important role to the life of a students they are molding us to be a great person they are the second parents of a students. They are doing their best so that the feel that the school is just a second home for them. There are  no doctors, engineers, accountants soldiers etc.. without teachers.   So that I can say that My Teacher Is My Hero...............

SCIENCE, science..........................

           



               The month of September is intended for the celebration of different activities related to science.

The students are participating this activities so that they can experience and explore world of science.

Some activities that i know are creating a SCI-TOY made up of waste materials or things that can be

recycled. Essay writing contest to test the writing skills of the students and sharing their ideas or thoughts

in the topic.


                 Nowadays if we try to reflect what the science had contributed to to this world. The first thing

comes to our minds are technologies, progress and make life easier for a human. But if you see to the other

side you can see the bad effect of this science. nature is less prioritized they are destroying the mother nature

to develop new technologies. the effect of this are air pollution, global warming water pollution, and

greenhouse effect. What will happen to us if we let the nature destroy. Maybe the next generation of mankind

cannot experience climbing to a tree breathing a clean fresh air. But the power is in our hands we can make it

we must use science properly so that it will not destroy our nature. "PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE"
